The year 2012 is the year of "The Mantle." The number 12 symbolizes spiritual, prophetic and governmental authority of perfection.
"The Mantle" also signifies God-given authority. Elijah's mantle was used in the parting of the waters of the Jordan River - "Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was
divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground" (2 Kings 2:8 NKJ).
Elijah used his mantle as a symbol of his God-given authority, when the time came to appoint Elisha as his successor. He also used his mantle ceremonially casting it upon Elisha - "So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing
with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah
passed by him and threw his mantle on him" (I Kings 19:19 NKJ).
My dear sisters, women also have God-given authority of "The Mantle." The book of Judges expresses one of the most prolific narratives of woman's authority of "The Mantle."
Jael used a mantle to hide Sisera.
Her hospitality was a strategic means to get Sisera (the enemy) to trust
her. Once asleep, she killed him by driving a tent peg through his skull.
Jael's action against Sisera was not regarded as murder; her action was regarded
as an act of war for which she is praised - "Most blessed among women is Jael, The wife of Heber the Kenite . . . She pounded Sisera, she pierced his head, She split and struck through his
temple" (Judges 5:24, 26 NKJ).
To my 21st century Deborah, I am honored to be graced with the anointing for Conference 2012 to equip us with "The Mantle" of warfare. Annually, the Deborah Generation Conference equips women (from all walks of life) for spiritual warfare of victory. This year's conference promises to equip us beyond any experiences of the past.
Conference 2012 has been designed for our husbands, brothers and sons to join us. I am sending out a clarion call to all men to join us at the Deborah Generation Conference 2012. Do not miss this God-encounter for the casting of - "THE MANTLE"
